Using Portal.Adams.Edu

Portal.Adams.Edu's Faculty services product is a tool that complements Adams State College's database and allows you easier access to your student's records, your class rosters, your schedule and other items from your personal institutional information. It is a web-based information system designed to work equally well on both PC and Macintosh platforms. All you need is an Internet connection: whether it is in your on-campus office, a remote location such your own living room or a laptop in the luxury of a hotel room in the Caribbean.

  • CRN Selection - Select the course reference number from a drop-down menu which is a list of the classes you've taught for the selected term.

  • Faculty Schedule by Day and Time - Display your weekly class schedule.
  • Detail Class List - Provides list of students currently registered for selected CRN. Includes individual student information such as major and level.

In order to allow for more flexibility, this web product provides two methods of retrieving the information.

A. First click on Term Selection. This will bring you to a screen that has a drop down list of every semester you've taught at ASC in ascending order. Select the term and then click on Submit Term. Next, click on CRN (Course Reference Number) Selection. This brings you to a screen that has a drop down list of CRN relevant to the term you've already selected. Select the course you'd like to see information about.

B. Select any option other than term selection, i.e. Faculty Detail Schedule. You will then be required to select a term and then, if necessary a CRN.

If you click on any of the classes (blue underlined text) you will then see detailed information for that particular class.
