I obtained my Ph.D. in physics at Emory University. My research advisor was Prof. Kurt Warncke. My dissertation research was to determine the mutual orientation of the equatorial bis-imidazole ligands in Cu(II) models and amyloid-β peptide complexes and the geometrical factors that govern the fibrillization switch by using Electron Paramagnetic Resonance techniques such as Electron Spin Echo Envelope Modulation spectroscopy.
